A) COLD FORGING HEADING MACHINE:

In cold forging Grain structure will be uniform and will take the shape of contour of tools used whileupsetting the row material to the desired head shape .So this will give higher strength of forged partcompared to machine part and the surface finish. Parts like Machine Screw with and without Philips head, Self Tapping Screws only are Cold Forged.

Thread forming and thread rolling are processes for forming screw thread with the former referring tocreate internal or external thread.
